Layered Drawing



1. Put the drawing as your background

2. Make a background copy and name it hair

3. Color in the hair with a brush

4. Make a new layer and name it eyes

5. Color in the eyes with a brush

6. repeat steps 4 and 5 for the skin, mouth and hair pieces

Photo Collage

I am combining these photos.






1. Put the picture of the rainforest as your background

2.Use the magnetic lasso tool put it around picture of the ocelot

3. Use command key+c to cut out the picture and command key+v to paste the picture

4. Use the move tool to move the picture to a certain spot





5. Make a copy of the background and place it above the layer with the ocelot on it

6.  On the background copy go to Filter-Blur-Average

7. change from Normal to Soft Light then Hold the option key and click between the picture of the ocelot and the background copy
8. repeat steps 2- 7 for the picture of the man with the backpack

The picture should now look like this.




9. Repeat steps 2-7 for all the rest of the pictures

Another Retouching

This is the picture I am retouching.






1.Make a copy of the background

2.Use the healing brush to take the wrinkles from around the woman's eyes

3.Go to Filter-Blur-Surface Blur and use it on the picture   ( set the radius to 3 and the threshold to 10)

4.Add a vector mask to the picture

5. (Set the foreground to black and the background to white)   Use the brush to brighten the eyes,the mouth and the hair

How to retouch a photo

 This is the finished picture.








 Start with this picture.






1. Put the picture on a layer as the background and make a copy of that layer

 2. Go to filter-blur-surface blur. Make the radius 15 pixels and the threshold 10 pixels.

3. Make a layer mask. Pick a soft brush and use it on the eyes.Make sure that the foreground is black before you brush the picture. Name the background copy "eye brightening".

The picture should now look like this.






4. Make a comp layer and name it dust and scratches

5. Go to Filter-Noise-Dust and Scratches

6. Under Dust and Scratches make the radius 5 pixels and the threshold 19 pixels

7. Add a layer mask. Make sure that the foreground is black in the layer mask. Pick a soft brush and go over the eyes and teeth with it.

The picture is now done and should look like this.

How to edit two pictures together



1.Take the picture of the mansion and make it your background

2.Make a copy of that layer

3. Take the picture of the woman and use the magnet tool around her

4. Cut her out of the picture and put her in the one with the mansion

The picture should now look like this.










5.Copy the background and make the copy the top layer

6.Go to Filter, then Blur ,then Average
(Also change from normal to Soft Light)

7.Hold the option key and click between the top layer and the layer with the woman on it.


The picture now looks like this.






8.Use the burn tool on the woman to make sure both pictures have the appropriate amount of shadow
